MADARAO SNOW BASE is a new snow experience area where anyone can enjoy the mountain in winter, no skiing or snowboarding required.
For families, friends, and guests from overseas touching snow for the very first time. Sledding, adventures on natural terrain, warm food and special moments. You don't need to ski to feel the excitement of the snowy mountain.

What you can do
SNOW BELT Moving walkway
A 100 m covered moving walkway. Ride up as many times as you like, no climbing
SLED ZONE Sledding area
The main slope, with sleds in different sizes for small children and adults alike
SNOW ADVENTURE Natural terrain area
A free area that uses the natural terrain as it is, with banks and slopes
SNOW PLAY Snow play
Snowmen, snowball fights and photo spots. A space to simply enjoy the snow
FOOD BASE Food area
Food trucks with warm meals for a break
Located at the slope entrance (public area). Open to everyone
KAMAKURA DINING Snow hut dining (reservation required)

- * Admission covers SNOW BELT, SLED ZONE and SNOW ADVENTURE. Sleds and snow toys are lent free of charge
- * Lift tickets do not include entry to SNOW BASE (SNOW BELT can also be used with a lift ticket from the slope side)
- * KAMAKURA DINING: for guests with reservations only
Rental pack
- * Sign up and pick up at Shirakaba Rental

How it works
Check in
Pay admission at the reception hut at the top of the area (sign up for the rental pack at Shirakaba Rental)
Rent and change
Borrow a jacket, pants and snow boots at Shirakaba Rental. No gear needed
Play
Go sledding, build a snowman, and enjoy the snowy mountain all day
Eat and rest
Take a break with warm drinks and food at the food area
