We are pleased to inform you that the Lift No.1 Triple Chair, which had been suspended since the end of December,

resumed operation today, January 8.

With the resumption of Lift No.1 Triple Chair,

the temporary shuttle bus service between Madarao Kogen Hotel and the ski area has been discontinued.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during the suspension period

and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy your time at

Madarao Mountain Resort and Madarao Kogen Hotel.

A limited-time lounge area called the “Après Madarao Mountain Lounge” has opened at Restaurant Heidi, the main restaurant in the base area of the ski slopes. Free admission is provided for guests to enjoy a popular après-ski atmosphere from Europe and North America.

The lounge features DJ sessions and a local beer bar for a fun après-ski experience.

We would like to inform you of the operating schedule from December 31, 2025

8 lifts are scheduled to be in operation, with 19 courses open for skiing and snowboarding.

Night skiing will be available on the No. 1 Lift and the No. 2 Quad Lift.

Please note that daytime lift tickets cannot be used for night skiing.
Night skiing lift tickets are available for purchase at the Information Center.

Additionally, please be aware that there are many areas with in the courses where bushes and ground are exposed.

Please ski or snowboard with caution, as we cannot be held responsible for damage to equipment or injuries caused by falls.

A fireworks display will be held after the night skiing ends at 9:00 PM.

The viewing area is located around the No. 1 Lift unloading area.

Recently, we have observed individuals climbing the slopes and skiing before the official start of operations.


Please be advised that before opening hours, slope grooming and maintenance work is being carried out using snow grooming machines and other equipment. As this poses a serious risk of accidents, all uphill travel and skiing associated with uphill travel before opening hours are strictly prohibited throughout the entire Madarao Kogen Ski Resort.


In addition, any uphill travel or skiing involving uphill access on closed
courses or courses accessible via suspended lift operations after opening hours
is also strictly prohibited.


Should such actions be observed in the future, the individuals involved may be denied access to the ski resort in the future. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
